“We do not plan an evening by fixing a program,” Daniel Ottensamer explains.
“We circle around a vague thematical idea and then decide spontaneously what to play. Our repertoire comprises more than 150 pieces – that’s a big pool to draw on.”
The choice of pieces depends entirely on the reactions of the audience.
“We play because we enjoy making music – every concert is different, it’s a mutual give and take. The audience offers so much to us. We react to this and produce a tailor-made concert that is made to measure for this one occasion. So every concert is a perpetually new, intimate, good-humored evening.”
