Georg Brunner is deputy head of the Institut für Musik and pro-rector for teaching, studies and digitalization at the Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg. A musicologist and fan of FC Freiburg, he is also interested in the sociology of music, which includes fans’ songs and football music.
Elisa Holz, a Munich-based freelance journalist, joins stadium chanters only once a year – when TSV 1860 Munich (“the lions”) get together for an Advent singalong. On this occasion she even puts a lions’ cap on her head, which she never would touch the remaining 364 days.
